Get your racket string by our professional Stringers.
The strings are part of Tennis, Squash and Badminton rackets which make contact with the ball or the shuttle cock.
The strings form a woven network inside the head (or “hoop”) of the racket.
Strings are made with a variety of materials and possess varying properties such as dynamic stiffness, tension retention, thickness (gauge), string texture (shape of the string), and rebound efficiency.
The process of installing strings in the racket is called “stringing” and is done with a racket string machine. These machines vary in complexity, accuracy and price.

Before first being played, a bat should be “knocked in”.
Knocking a bat in compresses the surface wood fibers and allows it to be ready for use, as most brand-new bats will crack or badly dent if used in competition without being knocked-in.
The process begins with the application of a layer of linseed oil to the surface of the bat, after which a worn-down ‘soft’ leather cricket ball or a specialized mallet may be used to repeatedly hit the face of the bat.
After three to four hours of knocking in, another layer of linseed oil may be applied.
At this stage, the bat may be used in light practice but should not be used in competition without another few hours of knocking-in. The splice of the bat should not be knocked as this will cause the bat to “jar”.
After being properly knocked in, the wood will make a slightly higher-pitched sound when hitting the ball and will feel softer to use.
During the knocking-in process, a fingernail is pressed into the front face of the bat to check if the bat is properly knocked in.
If an indentation is left on the bat during this process, it shows that the wood is still not fully compressed, and should be knocked in for longer.
We use special machines to knock in the bats for customers.

Players have many options and variations in rubber sheets on their racket.
Although a racket may be purchased, assembled with rubber by the manufacturer, most serious tournament players will use a custom racket. A player selects a blank blade (i.e., a racket without rubber) based on his or her playing style.
The type of wood or synthetic layers used to make up the blade will determine the blade’s speed.
The different types of rubber sheets affect the level of spin, speed, and other specific playing characteristics.
Racket construction and new rubber technology contribute significantly to the amount of deviation from the expected ball flight path.
Normally, a sheet of rubber is glued to a blade using various table tennis brand glues such as Butterfly, Donic, and DHS.
Some glues may work even if it wasn’t designed specifically for table tennis, such as Rubber Cement and Tear Mender.
The rubber is not removed until it wears out or becomes damaged.
